Young Party of Four

Another month has come to an end in 2017. This year seems to be flying by. We have continued with our Second A Day project and are loving it more and more everyday. This month we did a lot of fun things and it was actually really difficult to use just one second per day of a video. We had some days that we could have used three or four different videos and plenty of days that a second or two seemed way too short but we tried to keep it within reason. I have also been dealing with some technical issues this month that almost sidelined our project. First off, my phone has a major issue with the motherboard that causes it to have severe glitching and static on one side almost constantly. Ironically, the phone still works underneath the static so I could still take videos. I just had some issues doing it because I can still only see half the screen. Until I get home and put the video on the computer, I can't actually see it well enough to know if I got what I meant to get. We'v...

Our summer bucket list has been in effect for about a week. We have actually checked off a few activities on the list already. =) Will ended up finishing his final swimming lesson so as part of the celebration for how awesome he did this year in lessons (and also because we miss Daddy during the week), we decided to meet him for lunch after Will's final lesson. We ended up going into this office because the kids think it is cool to visit Daddy in the office. They also like to see Ms. Yvonne who spoils them. Both kids came out with toy cars and Kenzie also walked away with a bracelet and sticker. Will would have gotten those too if he wanted them, but he was being a bit standoffish and chose to just drive his car around the floor while we chatted for a few minutes. This weekend Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. They were on their way to Palm Coast to check in our their new house and stopped to see us on the way. We know they really only wanted to see Kenzie, but we're used to that now. On Saturday they went with Steven to look at furniture for their new house and Kenzie and I stayed home. We knew that Sunday was going to be a big day and didn't want to disrupt her routine too much two days in a row. Sunday morning we got an early start and went to Crystal River to visit Great Gran-ma (Steven's grandmother). Kenzie slept about half the way there (total of about 45 minutes). We spent some time at the house with Diane while Gran-ma learned some new things on her iPad from Dad Y. Kenzie also got her first experience with a dog other than Jack. She seemed to like Sammy.
