A Year in Running

As 2017 is winding down, Steven and I have been talking about all the races we did and the training we did to get there and thought it would be fun to take a picture of all of our race shirts/medals. That led to us talking about how much we have run overall. And that led to us deciding to do a brief recap. This year we ran quite a few races. All but one had shirts and most had medals. Christmas Advent Activities 2017 Week 4

Well, this was our fourth and final week of Christmas Advent Activities and Kenny. He left on Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve for another 11 months. I think the kids loved having him around this year. Honestly, I don't think I am going to miss him right away. ;) On Day 19, Kenny borrowed Kenzie's tap shoes. We think he did it because Kenzie had her dance recital that night and he wanted to get in on the action, too. Thankfully, she no longer uses her tap shoes this year as she does ballet and jazz so we didn't have to try to remove him from the shoes. We actually didn't have an activity for the day because of Kenzie's recital. That was technically our activity for the day. This year her teacher chose a jazz routine for the holiday recital. This is a much more low key recital than the end of the year one. That is a huge production, but this is just a recital at the studio during dance time.
